Sen. Tom Cotton Calls Slavery ‘Necessary Evil’

Opinion:

Can the USA ever embrace human equality, while the action of legislators embrace fraudulent beliefs?  First, those in charge now were not around in 1619, consequently, all words spoken today are not facts.  Nonetheless, the USA  constitution addresses all men are created equal and that speaks to enough facts that the manner in which the USA was formatted had huge wrongs in human acceptance.

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

Senator Cotton smacks of wrongfully carrying out his sworn duties of his office.  The country fought a civil war and defended other countries on humanity rights, and for his defiance to accept what the US Constitution directs is treasonous.
